A beautiful day to night timelapse of Brisbane, Australia's Story Bridge.
The Story Bridge was lit red last night to support the 78th Anniversary of the Fall of Singapore on 15 February 1942. The light is in remembrance of the thousands of Australian soldiers, sailors, airmen and nurses who lost their lives in the WW2 battle for Malaya and Singapore. Those who survived the battle were taken prisoner of war at the Fall of Singapore. One third of those who were captured died as POWs. This was a great way to remember those who gave their lives to give us the freedoms we have today.
